WorldClinic is proud to share the appointment of Brigadier General (Ret.) Edward H. “Ned” Bailey, MD as our new Chief Medical Officer, effective December 1, 2025.
Dr. Bailey joins WorldClinic at a time when demand for high-performance, immediate medical care continues to grow. In this pivotal leadership role, he will oversee all clinical operations and patient care programs, guide the advancement of our virtual primary care model, and strengthen our commitment to providing exceptional, anytime-anywhere care.
A Distinguished Leader With Global Impact
Dr. Bailey brings a remarkable legacy of military medical leadership shaped over decades of service in the U.S. Army. His career includes commanding two of the Army’s most critical medical organizations—the U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command and the Medical Readiness Command – Pacific. He has also served as Command Surgeon for the U.S. Army Forces Command.
His expertise is not only strategic but deeply operational. Dr. Bailey has led medical teams in complex and austere environments around the world, including Afghanistan, Iraq, and Liberia. Across each assignment, he has championed operational readiness, precision in clinical execution, and the highest standards of patient care.
A graduate of both the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and the U.S. Naval War College, Dr. Bailey brings a rare combination of clinical mastery, global perspective, and proven crisis-leadership experience.
