WorldClinic and JobSiteCare Enter a New Era of Expansion
WCI announced the appointment of James Benedict as President, marking a major milestone in the company’s growth as demand rises for physician-led, immediate-access healthcare across both global executive populations and frontline industrial workforces.
Mr. Benedict assumes the role at a critical inflection point for WCI. As President, he will oversee the strategic integration and expansion of WorldClinic and JobSiteCare, driving growth initiatives and positioning the combined organization for significant milestones in 2026 and beyond.
Strategic Leadership for a High-Growth Healthcare Platform
James Benedict brings 25+ years of experience spanning private equity, venture capital, family office, and strategic advisory work. He has helped launch, operate, and guide companies through pivotal growth and exit phases, and has served on the boards of multiple organizations that have achieved successful acquisitions.
A Principal at Kidd & Company since 2005, James specializes in building category-defining businesses through rigorous research, disciplined strategy, and hands-on execution. His background includes senior leadership roles at Spencer Trask Ventures, and he was the co-founder of the BeDoWin Institute and Left Tackle Capital—accelerators dedicated to supporting high-potential venture capital fund managers.
James has also been a founding advisory board member of two mission-driven women’s health initiatives: Maverick Collective—co-founded by Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway and Melinda Gates, former co-chair of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation—and Curing Women’s Cancer.
His extensive experience uniquely positions him to lead WCI’s dual-market strategy, bridging executive-level healthcare solutions with scalable, physician-led care for frontline and global workforces.
Mr. Benedict holds a Ph.D. in International Economics from Columbia University, a Certificate in Monetary & Fiscal Policy from Japan’s Ministry of Finance, and a B.A. in Economics from Baylor University.
“James Benedict has a proven track record of launching and building highly innovative organizations across multiple sectors,” said Dan Carlin, MD, CEO and Founder of WCI. “His vision for scalable, physician-led, immediate-access care is central to our ambition at WCI. As we expand WorldClinic and JobSiteCare, James’s leadership will be instrumental in creating an entirely new category of healthcare—one that delivers enterprise-grade performance, unmatched access, and measurable outcomes for employers and patients alike.”

JobSiteCare: Redefining Occupational Health and Workers’ Compensation Outcomes
JobSiteCare serves construction companies, industrial employers, and risk managers seeking to reduce workers’ compensation costs, accelerate injury recovery, and improve jobsite safety.
As the only physician-led occupational health risk management platform delivering immediate telemedical triage and end-to-end case management—from injury through return-to-work—JobSiteCare transforms how workplace injuries are managed. Immediate physician access, combined with on-site Health and Wellness Specialists, supports OSHA compliance while reducing both the human and financial impact of workplace injuries.
The Future of Physician-Led, Immediate-Access Healthcare
As President of WCI, James Benedict will play a central role in shaping the organization’s next chapter, expanding capabilities for executives, remote workers, job site teams, and global enterprises across both platforms.
“WorldClinic and JobSiteCare share the same DNA: physician-led care, immediate access, and measurable outcomes,” said James Benedict. “Together, they form a powerful healthcare platform capable of delivering both clinical excellence and economic value at scale, to any patient population, anywhere.”
Mr. Benedict’s appointment comes as WCI continues to expand market reach, enhance service capabilities, and invest in healthcare technology infrastructure, solidifying its position as a leader in high-access, physician-led care.
